Flipping boring learning into a sweet experience✨

Boring learning? Not on my watch.

I design English coaching and learning experiences that actually work for the people who need them most. Empathy first. Evidence always. Results you can see.

The Confident Communicator

A Master's-level instructional design project exploring communication, confidence, and employability for internationally qualified migrants in Australia.

  • 5-week prototype program
  • Built through empathy interviews
  • Tested with a real learner, validated by a real job offer
  • Grounded in Stanford d.school Design Thinking (Brown, 2008)

Every scoop starts here. The same five-stage process, flavoured to fit your project.

Sound familiar?

We jumped straight to building and then redesigned everything three weeks in because we never understood the actual person.

Before a single slide gets made I dig into who the learner actually is. Welcome forms, informal interviews, and direct conversation to gather real empathy data, not assumptions. Brown (2008) grounds this stage: design thinking begins with deep empathy for the user. Liedtka and Ogilvie's What is question maps here: mapping current reality before imagining alternatives. The learner's lived experience is the brief.
